This marble is extremely rare and highly collectible, and of course, full of memories. I will never ever forget the day i found her hidden behind a big rock on this beautiful south pacific island called bora bora. I picked her up, held her against the sun and was thankful i found her, not knowing why she brought so much joy my way. She reflected a lot of warmth. I already was sweating up a storm externally from the 110 degrees and almost 100 percent humidity, but the warmth that was coming from this marble was different.
Give and take for no particular reason. When i found big blue i just marveled at the reflection of the light the marble sent back to me. It showed me shades of blue i hadn't seen that way before. Shades of blue i wasn't aware of.I learned something new in the midst of nowhere through the words of nature. Something very special just happened in a very remote place 3000 miles away from home. I was surprised, and happy to hear about it, because i brought so many of them back with me, and welcomed the idea of sharing my finds with others. Finding these little sparkly things in the middle of nowhere lifted up my spirits even higher in the midst of paradise. I don't know if you know about sailing in the south pacific, mariana trench and so on, being out there in the ocean, away form everything, your family and your friends, your pets, your country, etc.
It is kind of a big deal. After a while your life turns into the now. The past and the future cease to exit.On challenging days, the black skies, the deep purple sea, big enormous squalls and heavy dark scary clouds with big long fingers start reaching for you and your little boat like a halloween monsters filled with lightening, and heavy, pounding rains flattening the ocean like an iron turn the just calm scenery into a science fiction movie. All this, in the midst of the ocean, 3000 thousand miles away from home can feel scary, but in moments like that, one remembers, in a few days one will set anchor again close to another beautiful, peaceful island in the remote pacific ocean to enjoy another day of sea glass scouting. This item is made of cobalt blue vintage sea glass marble and extremely rare, antique 1 inch cobalt blue, marble.
