Ellen is an original annette himstedt doll of 66 cm tall with long, blond human hair in large braids and beautiful mohair eyelashes, hand-painted eyebrows, faint blush on the cheeks, delicate little fingers and toes and radiant, almost striking bright blue glass eyes. It is beautifully made, with a great deal of attention to detail and high-quality materials. It's simply a beautiful doll. Ellen has a head, upper body, arms and lower legs of vinyl of artistic quality, with a fabric lower body so she can sit.
The quality of her clothing is high, and is made of natural cotton materials. Her cute pink overdress with flowers is worn over a grey dress.
She has very nice white undergarments with flowers her beautiful, long, blonde human hairs are still held together with a net; we also did not delete this for taking the photos. Ellen is a doll from the "barefoot children" series from 1986.
The'barefoot children' dolls were designed with slightly curved knees, so these character dolls are made to sit on a chair or a bench. She's annette himstedt signed in her neck and thigh. This beautiful doll is in mint condition. Since annette himstedt stopped making dolls, these rare dolls have become even more of a collector's item. Our lisa is in very good condition; it was never played with her right eye is pushed in a very small amount (see photo), but that can easily be restored.
She is still in the original box (which does have minor damage). Annette himstedt was born in germany. In 1974 she made her first attempts to make dolls. She didn't really want to make dolls, she wanted to make kids. She therefore used many photos as inspiration but above all her imagination.
She perfected her technique and that resulted in her breakthrough in 1984, her dolls became world famous. At the end of 2008 the factory closed, the "summer 2008" collection was the last.
As a result, these character dolls have become even more real collectibles.
